Transitions College, a private career college operates at two campuses located in Niagara Falls and Welland. Our success encourages us to expand more locally as well as internationally. Transitions College is multi-faculties. We have (School of Business and Management Studies, School of Health Care Studies, School of IT and Computer Applications, Department of Special Skills Training as well as Department of Advanced Management Training)   We provide a wide variety of post secondary education programs designed for local students, newcomers as well as international students. We have another department specialized in offering seminars and short term training to functional senior managers at Private Business. We have also a research and development department specialized in: government affairs, economic development of regions, business strategies, and competitiveness of microeconomics.

1.    Post Secondary School Students: As a post secondary student, you must be very careful about selecting your field of study in order to secure a successful career future. Transitions College has dedicated a highly professional team to pick the programs which are very much in demand by the “Emerging Industries” in the Niagara Region and Province of Ontario. A wide variety of post-secondary programs delivered at Transitions College through its Faculty of Business and Management Studies, Faculty of Technology and Computer Studies, and Faculty of Health Care Studies. Also you will find a Special Training Department which provides short-term certificate programs for students who would like to enter the job market at early stages.

2.    Second Career qualifying programs --Are you currently laid off, unemployed or would you like to train for an in-demand occupation in Ontario?  You may be eligible for this government program through which you can receive skills training and financial support.  As well, for those aged 55 to 64, the Targeted Initiative for Older Workers is a possible solution for your unemployment situation. more...

3.    Newcomers: As a newcomer to Canada, it is not easy to enter the Canadian job market unless you acquire skills and experience of the Canadian Standards. Transitions College provides the solutions:

·         Skilled Immigrants with Regulated Professions: If you are specialized in (Regulated Professions) such as engineers, physicians, lawyers, dentists, accountants, teachers, pharmacists, etc.  You cannot practice your profession unless you go for professional licensing application which may take you back to school for four years or more. However, you still lack the Canadian experience which is another barrier to enter the job market!

·         Transitions College provides the solutions. How?!

-       We provide a variety of second career programs which are in high demand by employers in Ontario and capable of positioning you in the job market within a period of four to six months.

-       We understand that the (Canadian Experience) is a big barrier for you to enter the job market. As you will be practicing your second career at our college during your study, you will receive (Canadian Experience Letter with your Degree Certificate) which enables you to compete in the job market.

·         Skilled Immigrants with Unregulated Professions: If you are specialized in an unregulated profession, you can practice your profession in Canada, but if you lack the professional English, it will be a barrier. Transitions College provides the solution through its wide variety of professional English training programs to position you on the proper stage.

·         Unskilled Newcomers: If you are unskilled and new in Canada, finding job will not be a problem through Transitions College. We offer you a Comprehensive Education Program consists of (English Training + Math Training+ Professional Programs). You will be practicing your career and obtain (Canadian kills and Canadian Experience as well as Job Search Skills) which is a comprehensive and unique solution for you to enter the job market.
